We know that talent is distributed equally, but opportunity is not. This opportunity gap has grown even larger in our community because of a rise in neighborhood violence and the ongoing effects of a global pandemic.

This Giving Tuesday, Metro United Way is raising money to invest in the potential of youth in our city that live near pockets of violence and who are disproportionately impacted. We’re focused on strengthening youth-serving organizations and after school programs so they can support true safety, trauma-informed care, and mental health and academic needs to the hundreds of students they serve.
