Dear Friends,

I am so excited to share with you our 2023 Impact Report so that you can see the great work that we’ve done together this past year, and how we are laying the foundation for not only next year, but future generations to create a better community for everyone.

We know that the need is great. We see our role as solving our community’s biggest challenges by uniting individuals, businesses, and nonprofits, and finding real solutions to address root causes of those challenges.

The transition from a community chest model to one of transformation has taken a lot of work and intentionality and I’m happy to say that today we invest in more nonprofits in our 7-county region than ever before. We support our legacy work as well as innovative initiatives that have been proven successful in other markets.

Our end goal? It’s to make sure we have:

THRIVING KIDS | STRONG HOUSEHOLDS | EQUITABLE COMMUNITY

Again, many thanks to the thousands of donors, volunteers, and partners that have helped make our local Metro United Way one of the best in the United Way Worldwide network – the largest, most influential nonprofit in the world. I cannot wait to share more of the exciting things that will happen in 2024 and beyond!

All my best,

Adria Johnson
President & CEO | Metro United Way

There’s nothing more important than ensuring our community’s children have what they need to thrive.

When we have strong households we are creating pathways out of poverty to prosperity which is a win for all of us.

We envision the Greater Louisville region as a place where zip code doesn’t determine destiny and everyone has the opportunity to live up to their full potential.

THANK YOU

Without you, we can’t do what we do. Thank you for your support, your trust, your belief in us, and your love for our community!
